Maggie's on the Runway are delighted to have one of the UK's top hair styling brands as one of our beauty sponsors. The team at Trevor Sorbie, undoubtably one of Manchester's most professional and friendly hair salons will be helping ensure that all our models will be "catwalk-ready".
Finalists in the British Hairdressing Business Salon of the Year and Customer Care Awards, the Manchester salon can be found at 19 Spring Gardens in the City Centre.
Heading up the runway hair styling team will be Salon Director and Head of Education Paul Healey.
The Trevor Sorbie team are the perfect partners for this event on account of their pioneering wig cutting service. Founder and Former Celebrity Hairdresser Trevor Sorbie MBE now spends his time travelling the world training hairdressers to delivere this service to people suffering hair loss accross the globe.
Trevor decided to set up the charity My New Hair after helping his sister -in-law with a wig in 2005. He said " She wanted a wig to make her look attractive to my brother. When she put it on, it didn't look great. So I customised it and when she looked in the mirror she burst out crying with tears of joy. Here he explains his motivation for rolling out this service to support people suffering from lair loss due to illness.
