Megan Elliot - Catwalk Captain

“Being a model for Maggie’s on the Runway in 2018 had been a huge turning point for me in my recovery from breast cancer. It was the most amazing experience in every way! It really boosted my self esteem, I made fabulous lifelong friends, and together we raised lots of much needed funding for the lifeline that is Maggie’s Manchester. This year’s models are incredible; courageous, funny and totally inspirational ladies and gents. It has been a privilege to share this experience with them for a second time. We’ve had a blast whilst raising vital funds to enable Maggie’s Manchester to keep doing what it does best.”

“I first went to Maggie’s when I was due to have radiotherapy l was going to throw in the towel and refuse the treatment. I spoke to a lady who calmed me down and helped me to see I should fight on. The Maggies on the Runway show has helped me feel confident again and I have met so many other people who are going or have gone through the same as me.

I am also happy to be able to help raise funds and give something back to Maggie’s Centres so they can continue to help people in need xx”
